Competence Centre for Labour Research: Shaping Transformation in the Saar-Pfalz Corridor of the Future - Value-Oriented Working and Learning in the Circular Economy (KOMATRA)

As part of the project, a competence centre for labour research is being established together with 14 industrial and komatra research partners from Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate. The project is funded by the BMBF programme "Innovations for tomorrow's production, services and work" as part of the funding measure "Regional competence centres for labour research". Das Projekt wird über das BMBF-Programm „Innovationen für die Produktion, Dienstleistung und Arbeit von morgen“ im Rahmen der Fördermaßnahme „Regionale Kompetenzzentren der Arbeitsforschung“ gefördert.

The competence centre is coordinated by the ITA in Kaiserslautern and has a regional focus on the key sectors of the automotive industry and medical technology. The aim of the interdisciplinary network is to develop and research innovative approaches for sustainable working in the circular economy with companies from these sectors and to derive practical recommendations for action. In particular, healthy, attractive working environments are to be combined with sustainable economic development. The task of the iso-Institute is to develop health-promoting strategies for transformation in companies and to test them with the practice partners. To this end, the project team will analyse the initial conditions, support needs and transformation conditions in the companies and support health-promoting work design and transformation.
