The Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (Bundesanstalt für Arbeitsschutz und Arbeitsmedizin, BAuA) researches conditions and developments within gainful employment in order to protect and promote workers in the best possible way today and in the future. The challenges of the BAuA's current research and policy advice in this field include (1) the occupational safety and health practices of small companies, (2) how companies deal with psychosocial risks at work, and (3) the conditions that inhibit and promote occupational safety and health measures in flexible and digitalised workplaces.
Data from the "European Survey of Enterprises on New and Emerging Risks" (ESENER, see https://osha.europa.eu/de/facts-and-figures/esener) offer the opportunity to consolidate the knowledge base on prevention practice in enterprises and to expand it with regard to the above-mentioned three topic areas. The iso Institute was commissioned for the scientific evaluation of these data. https://osha.europa.eu/de/facts-and-figures/esener) bieten die Möglichkeit, die Wissensbasis zur betrieblichen Präventionspraxis zu festigen und in Bezug auf die o.g. drei Themenbereiche auszubauen.
