Providing care for care-dependent people is a major challenge. Outpatient nursing care services play a decisive role in ensuring an appropriate care for people in need of assistance in their own homes. However, since the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, the work of outpatient nursing care services has become much more complicated. In order to get an overview of the current situation of the outpatient nursing care services in Saarland, the iso-Institut is conducting a survey on the behalf of the Arbeitskammer des Saarlandes (Saarland Chamber of Labour) and the Vereinte Dienstleistungsgewerkschaft (ver.di) (United Services Union). The prime objective is to find out more about the density and variety of outpatient nursing care services in the Saarland and their needs in order to define recommendations for the future implementation. The survey therefore focuses on the supply and demand of outpatient nursing care services in the Saarland, as well as on staff issues, working conditions, the effects of the Corona pandemic and future developments.
