Continuing Education Counselling for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in the Saarland

Project Duration: July2022 – December 2028

For more than 10 years, the iso-Institut has been coordinating further education counseling for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) based in Saarland. The institute will continue this project on behalf of the Saarland Ministry of Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitalization, and Energy (MWIDE), with funding from the European Social Fund Plus, until the end of 2028.

The topics of digitization, sustainability, and gender equality are the focal points in the new funding period for company-specific further education counseling. Through a holistic consulting approach, companies are provided with tailored personnel development measures to address skilled labor shortages, demographic change, and the transformation in Saarland by strategically and comprehensively trained personnel.

The on-site counseling is carried out by a pool of independent and neutral education experts. They utilize specialized analysis and evaluation methods to identify company-specific further education needs and develop appropriately tailored training measures, including collaboration with educational institutions. In a final report, the companies receive the analysis results and the action plan. Additionally, comprehensive information on various funding opportunities for financing the measures is provided, and assistance is offered in the application process.
